Interest groups on linked In should be relevant to the industry your wanting to work in. The groups that are relevant in gaming are where you want to be immersed into. By matching up connects to groups that are involved with Unity, you will be connected to all the movers and shakers of the gaming world. It shows that you too, are connected to this industry and you can see who and what is driving this industry forward.

I Love Making Connections!

This is the most important part of your lessons with Game Dev Hq. It is all about networking. By Strategically Networking, you have the employers coming to you, versus you having to apply to them. It is all about posting your Medium articles consistently. 1 article per day, you keep a back log of articles, but you should post one article per day, no more no less.

Now we want to learn how to use linked in. Being in the right groups are an important facet of Networking Strategically. Focus your selections of connects to developers that are in the area you reside, or where you want to live. It doesn’t make sense if you to connect with developers in Brazil and you are in New York. Try to connect with 5 Unity engineers per day. this will grow your connections to extend your network quickly.

How important is it that you post your Medium articles every day? “By posting an article everyday you will be posting an article that is more advanced than the previous one and is going to blow employers away.”
